"Helen is an amazing teacher.  Her classes "magically" change, evolve and flow according to the needs
of those attending.  I've also noticed the the 'hands on' I've learned from Helen seems to integrate on a cellular level and surface exactly when needed.  Thank you, Helen! "

"One of the most helpful aspects of Helen's work has been learning techniques to connect with "essence."
I find that when I can remember spirit, source and essence, I find peace and guidance, along with an experience of energy flow and balance.  I come from Helen's workshops fulfilled and strong.  I find reawakened hope in my connectedness with myself and others as well as with the needs of our planet and larger universe."

" Helen has the ability to take complex subjects and explain them so everyone understands.  I have been on this path for many years and am amazed at the depth of her teachings.  I have talked to students that are new to this path, and they also understand her teachings.  The class is always right on target for what we need to hear and experience.   I have also found that the teaching you receive from Helen, you will not get anywhere else. "Helen Yamada is a committed lifelong learner.  She creates rich and safe learning communities that call forth the best from each unique group that gathers.  In my thirty years as a practitioner (and student) of manual therapies, psychospiritual methods and the healing arts, learning from her has been a high point, a psychologically fresh educational experience.  It is a rare opportunity to work with a skilled teacher whose ego does not stand in the way of your personal and professional development."

"I am 61 years old, a lifelong writer and teacher of writing with a ten year massage therapy practice.
I have attended two weekend workshops with Helen Yamada and both times I came away with more confidence in my ability to read both what I am perceiving and what the person I am touching is perceiving.   Helen modeled so beautifully to me what it looks like to be a teacher who is listening to her own guidance as she reads the energy of the group of individuals she is teaching.  I saw her stop and take time to listen to her own guidance.  I saw her say she didn't know yet what she was doing next.  I saw her disclose personal information when it seemed appropriate.  And yet I never saw her abandon her role as leader.  What a deep joy it was for this teacher then, to be taught so well."

The Art of Healing program has been described as the "lab class" for those who study energy work with Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere, and now I understand why.  The extensive hands-on practice you receive from these classes truly helps you put what you are learning into practical application.  It takes you beyond just lecture so you get to actually experience first-hand what is presented.  The best part is seeing and feeling the personal growth you achieve as a result.  From Year One to Year Three I had demonstrable proof of how my ability to run energy had been enhanced.  This training program would give anyone interested in energy medicine a significant ramp-up in your learning curve!

The Art of Healing course is more than academic.  It expands the mind but most importantly, it awakens the true connection between the earth body and the beatific energy that connects us all.  Helen and Mary Branch are gifts to us to open our minds and hearts to receive this new but ancient information and energy.  I encourage all who can, to sit with them, take into your soul their teachings and then take this knowledge out into your world to pass along.

I work on a daily basis with people as a kinesiologist at a busy chiropractic clinic.  I feel the three year training has allowed me to work from a deeper place of trust and connection with the divine, giving me tools to stay present and grounded.  It has given me permission to follow that inner voice and trust in the wisdom it contains.  The many hours of hands on work in class taught me to work more from my heart and to listen to guidance.   This feels much more natural than having the left brain dictate what procedure should be done next.

At first, a three-year course in energy healing seemed daunting in many ways.  What is this “energy” stuff?  How on earth could I be a healer?  Yet once it begun, I immediately understood.  I gained invaluable insight into what healing is, what it could do in peoples’ lives, how it can transform us and the world.  I saw it, I lived it, and I learned that I, too, could “do” it. It can be both dramatic yet completely true that this course changed my life personally and professionally.  And that I can now use this learning to assist others to do the same is a tremendous gift.  This course is a life changing experience.

The Art of Healing program has transformed me in ways that I never could have anticipated.  I knew that my ‘curious experiences’ could not be explained by any ‘normal’ person, but through learning more about energy and various healing modalities, I not only understand more about the origin of these experiences, but also that I can use this knowledge and experience to be of service to others.  The most fulfilling part of the experience has been the friendships I’ve made with my Art of Healing peers, Helen and Mary Branch.  While I didn’t know what to expect when I first walked into the Gerton Community Center the first day, I can’t imagine what my life would be like today unless I’d taken that first step.
